Adult Education Center (VHS) at Bildungsforum Potsdam

Would you like to discover something new for yourself, deepen your knowledge, and meet nice people? Then the Adult Education Center (VHS) is the right place for you. The VHS is located on the 2nd floor of the Education Forum at Platz der Einheit. With our dedicated and qualified instructors, continuing education in our friendly, bright rooms is truly enjoyable.

You can choose from courses, lectures, and workshops on topics in the following areas:

• Culture and Design
• Health
• Languages
• Profession and Computer
• Young VHS
• German as a Foreign Language and Integration
• Basic Education

In addition, we offer exhibitions, activities for children and young people during the holidays, and intensive courses as part of educational leave (Bildungsurlaub). Learning German

At the VHS, you can also learn German as a foreign language and attend integration courses. To schedule an appointment, please contact vhs-deutschkurse@rathaus.potsdam.de for advice. Unfortunately, personal consultations without an appointment are currently not possible.

In the German Learning Workshop, volunteers work with migrants who want to improve their German skills. We welcome volunteer support. Contact: 0331 289-4576

Basic Education

For people who have significant difficulties with reading, writing, or arithmetic, the VHS offers free basic education courses. The Basic Education Center provides information and advice, offers free training for multipliers in simple language, and organizes open learning cafés.
